Role Purpose

The position will involve the creation of work instructions and co-ordination of 3rd party companies in order to deliver safe, reliable, efficient design and execution of assigned repair orders and fabric maintenance for an aging offshore platform.  

Support the execution of modifications and projects as required.

Travel Required: Occasional offshore platform visits as required

Main Tasks

  • Timely facilitation identified through anomaly management process
  • Participate in and contribute to relevant asset planning meetings  ensuring that all required information and justifications are available for planning execution of work, including appropriate risk identification where work is deferred
  • Planning to ensure consistency with overall asset plan
  • Leads execution program of work
  • Meet project targets and gate progression
  • Assist in efficient portfolio management
  • Management of work programs within Maximo
  • Keep abreast of existing contractual requirements
  • Conduct pre mobilisation project briefs including safety and repair specific information
  • Act as the single point of accountability for repair orders and fabric maintenance of an assigned asset ensuring compliance with company procedures
  • Ensure that all work instructions are developed and delivered in a timely manner to enable 3rd party contractors to perform repairs and minor modifications
  • Ensure materials and equipment are available on site prior work commencing
  • Track and monitor offshore progress and productivity for assigned scopes of work and advise  management where deficient
  • Management of all technical queries raised by offshore teams and client to ensure satisfactory completion
  • Coordinate interfaces internally and externally
  • Keep management team informed on project KPI targets and metrics
  • Undertake regular offshore visits to asset to interface with  the offshore asset management and to perform audits
  • Drive continual improvement
  • Assist in timely close‐out

Professional Skills

Essential:
  • Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Knowledge of Work Management, Activity Planning, Risk Management and other relevant practices
  • Knowledge of mechanical and structural design
Desirable:
  • Proficient user on Maximo MRO Software
  • Proficient user on Microsoft Office systems (e.g. Excel)

Education Requirements

Essential:
Relevant Engineering Degree or Experienced FM/RO Coordinator in the Oil Industry

Desirable:
Offshore medical and survival certification
