The Role – Mechanical Engineer

The role is responsible for the development and ownership of relevant maintenance strategies to support the safe operation of Serica Energy Assets.

The role is a key contributor to asset reliability and maintenance, identifying vulnerabilities and value adding modifications and enhancements and has ownership of assigned Mechanical Performance Standards.  The individual in the role will provide discipline engineering support to assigned engineering projects.

What we are looking for in potential candidates:

  • Chartered status or working towards Chartered status in relevant discipline
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering with mechanical-relevant discipline knowledge
  • Demonstrable experience within the oil and gas sector

We will contact individuals and invite them to an interview.  We offer in person or video interviews through Microsoft Teams.  Serica will make reasonable adjustments during the interview process if required.  The interview structure will be a mix of questions relating to technical experience and skills related to the role and questions relating to the values of Serica.  Second stage interviews may be necessary as an additional candidate assessment for staff roles.
