Martin Copeland
Chief Financial Officer
- Over 30 years' experience in oil and gas financing and advisory roles across a number of investment banks with extensive North Sea transaction and financing experience
- Most recently Principal at energy advisory firm Kirk Lovegrove & Co. Ltd where he acted as adviser to Tailwind Energy on their sale to the Company in 2023 as well as advising JX Nippon on the sale of their UKCS business to Neo Energy
- Prior to that, led RBC's EMEA energy team where he advised Premier Oil on their reverse takeover by Chrysaor to create Harbour Energy as well as Ithaca Energy on their acquisition by Delek
- Appointed to the Board of Serica February 2024
Mike Killeen
Chief Operating Officer
- Over 25 years’ experience in the oil, gas and chemicals industry in operational management roles and frontline operations
- Joined Serica in 2018
- Responsible for the safe and reliable operation of Serica’s producing assets
- Previously Operations Manager for Bruce, Magnus, ETAP and Sullom Voe Terminal for BP and before that, Operations Manager for the Coryton Refinery for Petroplus
- Chartered Chemical Engineer and member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers
Clara Altobell
VP ESG and Business Innovation
- 25 years’ experience in the upstream oil and gas industry
- Responsible for Serica’s Environment, Social and Governance performance as well as new technology
- Joined Serica in 2008 working on asset management and as VP Technical
- Prior to joining Serica, worked on subsurface and engineering operations relating to exploration, development and production
- Fellow of the Energy Institute
Danny Fewkes
Group Treasurer
- Over 25 years’ experience in various financial roles, primarily focusing on the oil and gas sector
- Joined Serica in January 2006 following its listing on AIM; appointed as Group Treasurer in June 2015
- Significant involvement in the company’s corporate and asset transactions, including equity offerings, debt facility financing, South East Asia interest disposals and the acquisition of an 18% Erskine interest from BP
- Qualified as a chartered accountant at Price Waterhouse and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales
Fergus Jenkins
VP Technical
- Over 25 years’ experience in oil & gas exploration, development and production
- Joined Serica in 2018
- Prior to joining Serica, worked in technical roles for several independent companies
- Experience gained from working in numerous areas around the globe
- Responsible for delivery of the Columbus Development before taking current role
- Previously held senior management positions to board level
- Chartered Petroleum Engineer and member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE)
Stephen Lambert
VP Legal and External Relations
- Over 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas sector
- Wide experience in commercial and business development in UK and overseas working for both independents and majors
- Joined Serica in 2017 and worked extensively on Bruce/Keith/Rhum and Tailwind acquisitions
- Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales and Chartered Institute of Taxation
- Member of Mediation Hertfordshire
Ian Macaulay
Commercial Manager
- More than 20 years' experience in the upstream sector, mainly in UKCS
- Formerly Legal Director at Nexen UK and Commercial Manager at Tailwind Energy
- Broad commercial experience of upstream joint ventures, capital projects and oil and gas sales
- Extensive experience in formulating upstream business development strategy and executing transactions
- Qualified solicitor (non-practicing)
- Vice-chair of governors at a large Foundation School
Carol Stewart
Head of Operational Strategy & Performance
- 15 plus years' experience in the oil and gas sector, engaged on a diverse range of commercial and business management projects
- Joined Serica in 2018 as BKR Business Manager, following the asset's acquisition
- Responsible for managing joint venture and stakeholder relationships, commercial issues and business planning for the Bruce/Keith/Rhum Area
- Prior to joining Serica, worked for 10 years at Repsol Sinopec Resources
John Stockdale
General Counsel
- 20 years' experience in upstream oil and gas
- Acted as in-house GC at Serica since 2018
- Responsible for legal and compliance matters for Serica
- Previously worked in the energy team at the law firm Dentons and in-house at JX Nippon in London before establishing a successful energy industry legal consultancy
- Member of the Law Society of England & Wales
